Half Marathon Training Week 6: 8/18-8/24

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 8/18 - 4 mile run on the treadmill

Tuesday 8/19 - 40 minute tempo run on the treadmill
Wednesday 8/20 - T25 Beta Rip't Circuit and 3 mile run outside
Thursday 8/21 - Rest
Friday 8/22 - 2 mile run with my 5 year old. He had been bugging me to run with him and I was really impressed with how much he improved from last time. He's pretty amazing and I'm so happy he wants to run with his mommy! :)
Saturday 8/23 - 8 mile long run on the D&R canal trail. Felt pretty good.
Sunday 8/24 - Rest day. We did go on a family hike at Bushkill Falls and had a great time! Blog post coming later this week!
This week has been pretty good as far as training goes. I did manage to get one T25 workout in, Beta Rip't Circuit, and I really liked it because it included some strength training. Working on my core and strength training are my weakness, so I need to improve on those aspects. On a side note, I'm pretty happy as Hubby got me PiYo as an Anniversary gift to me, so I am excited to try it out this week! :)

  1. That long run through the canal trail looks beautiful! My week was great- managed to log some miles and get all of the workouts I had planned done! :)
