Here's a recap of last week's workouts:
Monday 9/29 - 4 mile run. Did it on the treadmill and since all the treadmills I usually use were occupied at the gym, I went in the Cinema room and it was actually not so bad. Watched an entertaining movie while I ran.
Tuesday 9/30 - 3 mile walk with a friend at Rosedale Park.
Wednesday 10/1- 30 minute tempo run.
Thursday 10/2 - 2 mile run at a new park with some running friends. Short run for me due to tapering.
Friday 10/3 - Rest day
Saturday 10/4 - Rest day but hiked with the Fam at Watkins Glen State Park. It's an amazing park! Trip report coming this week!
Sunday 10/5 - Wineglass Half Marathon. I PR'd. Net time was 1:54:02. Race recap coming soon!!
What a great run! All my training paid off and I PR'd. I'm so happy. I'll talk more about my run in my recap.
As to the next race, it will be the Perfect 10 miler in about 3 weeks! I'm excited for this 10 miler as it is so close to home at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
