The instructions on fit and re-sizing were on the back.
The rope was definitely too long so I had to adjust the size. It was actually pretty easy once I figured out that you had to unscrew and twist the handle to open it up. You just need to separate the black piece and move the slider down to the length you want and then slide pieces together and screw it back on.
From the directions it says you can cut the rope with scissors, I tried only because I wanted it to fit easily back into the handle, but it's impossible with a regular scissor (at least for me). Not a big deal as I got the rope in without having to cut it. The jump rope is neat though because my husband can use this rope as well since it is so easy to adjust the size.
What a workout!!
I was left drenched and had to stop a few times for water breaks. Jump roping is tougher than I remember. It was a great workout, just tough! :p
As to the jump rope, it works well! The rope is lightweight and comfortable. It has a nice design and I like the colors (gray & turquoise). The handles are nice and soft, just what I needed for a good grip. They worked well for the cardio and strength training mashup. No tangling, so I was happy. Great jump rope and gets the job done! I will definitely be using this jump rope more with the great workouts I know I can get from using it.
Do you enjoy jumping rope?

Skipping reminds me of being in elementary school at recess! Although I haven't done it in years, I used to include it in workouts when I was in high school. It looks like an intense workout.
ReplyDeleteAh! I'm so bad at jumping rope! Trying to get better, though. Looks like a good workout!
ReplyDeleteI love jumping rope, I will add it in when I want to get my heart rate up during a workout. It leaves me breathless and sweaty too! I am going to have to pin that workout to try.
ReplyDeleteOmg wow what a good workout. You kind of forget how much cardio is in that old school yard workout huh? :) Seems like a good one. Pinned for later!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cool jump rope! I haven't actually used a jump rope in a while but I did pretend jump roping in Asylum. :P
ReplyDeleteThanks Annmarie! It is really nice that it is adjustable! The workout was definitely sweaty! :p
ReplyDeleteYeah, I loved jump roping in elementary school. Nice that you used to include it in workouts before. This workout was pretty tough! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole! It's a great workout, but tougher than I thought it would be!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It definitely gets your heart rate up! Enjoy the workout!
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely didn't see jump roping as tough as a kid. This workout is great, tough but good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry! The rope is nice and I like how it is adjustable. Lol pretend jumping roping is just as good too. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to jump rope it's so much harder than you think it was as a kid right?
ReplyDeleteJumping rope is hard - such a good cardio workout! I like the colors of the rope and that it was adjustable.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to learn how to jump rope like you see those pros do when they work out :) I think I might add it in to my new year's resolutions! It's always nice to have different options to keep workouts interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt is! Seemed so easy when we were kids! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a great workout!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I am going to try and incorporate it more on cross training days, or on days I can't get a run in.
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't even try backwards, I'll have to try doing that next time. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been forever since I've jumped rope! Nice review. I like that there's an actual way to work it into a routine so it's not just jumping. Thanks. Love the pics of you in action!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane! Yeah the workout was great with a variety of moves between jumping rope but still very tough! :)
ReplyDeleteI love jumping rope. It is actually my favorite form of cardio. Great workout!
