Today's topic is "What would your imaginary trainer say to motivate you?" I have not ever really had a trainer. I did get a free trial at the gym when I joined but it was only for a few sessions and I can't remember the types of things he said to me to get me going. I did not seem to need much motivation when I joined the gym because I was already so motivated to lose my pregnancy weight. I knew what I had to do and already had a plan laid out. So pretty much whatever the trainer told me, I did without any complaints. :p
But to answer the question, I would think of my imaginary trainer saying motivational quotes to get me going. Or even give me some mantras to think about when I am running. These quotes are probably not what a trainer actually says but some might. I am always motivated or inspired when I read these quotes. I'm sure you may have seen some of these before as I have seen some on Facebook, and Pinterest is a haven for them. :)
Here are some of my favorite motivational quotes taken from Pinterest.
Thanks for the motivation- struggling to get my butt in gear this morning :P
ReplyDeleteLove! My fave is the one about lapping everyone on the couch. My brother always says "do your best & forget the rest!" (I think that's from p90x). I'm finishing uo my coffee then I'll be off to do some piyo!
ReplyDeleteI love that it will hurt one. It's soooo true! Everything worth having takes work.
ReplyDeleteLapping everyone on the couch is one of my favorite quotes!

I all about proving it to yourself- everyone else has their own hill to climb :)
ReplyDeleteSharon, love these memes. I love the second to last one, and how honest it is. It will hurt. It will be hard, there will be temptation etc, but it will be worth it. Sometimes I think, oh, I can do it, but I don't really plan on the obstacles before they come, and they beat me. But, with this, I can anticipate it being hard, and facing it. Food temptations are the hardest for me. Thanks so much for sharing! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI love these quotes! <3 Pinterest is also my go-to for pretty graphics coupled with inspirational/motivational quotes! :] That last one is one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite mantras are:
ReplyDelete"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had
the courage to start." John Bingham
“I never said it would be easy, I only
said it would be worth it.” ― Mae West
It's a great one! Thanks for visiting Amy!
