Today's topic is "Write a Manifesto". A manifesto is a declaration of your core values and beliefs, what you stand for, and how you intend to live your life. Another great topic that makes you think deep. I felt it was a creative and interesting process. I actually took a piece of paper and wrote down my core values. I then made statements for each that included some goals and what I stand for and what I wanted to continue in life. I can't remember the last time I actually used a pen and paper to write, but I did it for this and it helped a lot to just write it down.
I decided to make my manifesto more visual and not just a regular paragraph for you to read. It was a fun process and I think more interesting and easier for you all to read. Enjoy.
On a side note it was my youngest son's birthday yesterday! He turned 4! It's so amazing how time flies. My baby is growing and and no longer a baby. Here he is so happy! The cake is an oreo ice cream cake, as oreos are his favorite. I will have the recipe on the blog soon! :)
Have you ever written a manifesto?

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your son! :]
ReplyDeleteDefinitely with you on learning, spending time with loved ones, and leading by example! <3 I'm still wishing that everyone would adopt the golden rule!
Love your manifesto board! I am especially fond of "be open to others" and "hear the other side of the story". I just think that is so important. I like to think I always give the benefit of the doubt before judging and acting. Happy birthday to your little 4 year old! Good choice on the Oreo cake little dude!
