TBT Hiking Post - Mt. Tammany

Today's Throwback Thursday post takes us back to our first big hike in New Jersey. We ventured to Mt. Tammany by the Delaware Water Gap. We actually did the hike last year and you can find that post here. This TBT hike takes us to the very first time we did Mt. Tammany when our eldest son was almost 1 year old.

Mt. Tammany 5/22/10

Mt. Tammany is the 4th highest peak in New Jersey. I really enjoyed the hike as it was the first hike that reminded me of hiking back home in the Pacific Northwest. Here is Hubby and baby P at the trailhead.
View of Mt. Minsi across the way.
Family pic at the top.
Heading back down.
Cool waterfall closer to the end of the trail.
One happy baby! He seemed to enjoy the hike as he didn't make any fuss. He always seems to be happy outdoors. :)
The hike is a total of about 3.5 miles with great views at the top. Kids enjoy it too! :)
