Workout Recap and Weekly Wrap 10/19-10/25

Here's a recap of last week's workouts:

Monday 10/19 - #Hiititandquitit workout for the #urbankickbooya challenge. Great workout that left me in a good sweat!
Tuesday 10/20 - 6.35 miles with friends.
Wednesday 10/21 - 4.54 miles with a friend.
Thursday 10/22 - 3.5 mile walk with a friend.
Friday 10/23 - 3 mile run.
Saturday 10/24 - Rest
Sunday 10/25 - 10K run. 
Got some good running workouts this week. Had only one day of cross training but it was a good one. That urbankick booya workout left me dripping sweat! I plan to do more cross training this week along with hopefully some speed work. I've got the Trenton 10K on Saturday 11/7 and that is all I have left on my schedule for the year. I'm hoping to add some California races on my calendar soon! 

As to the weekend, Saturday started off with 4 year old's soccer in the morning.
Went home for lunch and then dropped by Whole Foods because they had their Spooky Scavenger hunt for kids. The boys had fun looking for the treats around the store.
We did a few errands afterwards and made it in time for 6 year old's soccer game. Unfortunately I don't have a pic as after 15 minutes of playing, a soccer ball hit 6 year old smack in the face so we went home to put ice on it. He was a trooper and is fine now.

For dinner we went to a friends house and the kiddos had a blast raking leaves. Yes, they had fun raking leaves and oh of course jumping in them. :)
Sunday morning, I had my 10K virtual race to run with runningonthewall.com. 
Then I met up with some friends for brunch. I'm trying to get in to see everyone before I leave. These ladies are part of the MOMS Club I belonged to. They are a great group of ladies that I will miss.
In the afternoon, we met up with some friends and did a short fun hike at Baldpate Mountain. 
And finished it off with dinner at Triumph Brewery in Princeton. Always great having beers and good food with friends while the kiddos have fun playing with their friends.
