Thursday 10/29 - 3.5 mile walk with a friend. I didn't get a pic with her but she's a MOM's club friend, and I will miss her too!
Friday 10/30 - Rest
Saturday 10/31 - 4 mile run.
Sunday 11/1 - 8 mile long run. Last long run on the canal trail. Gonna miss being able to run as far as I want on this trail!
This week was a lot of last runs with running/walking friends. It was my preschooler's last week of school, so had to get in all the runs I could with friends before I had him at home with me during our last week. I can't believe this upcoming week is my last week in Jersey. I've got a couple of short runs left and the 10K on Saturday and then we are off on a plane to the West Coast. It's going to be a busy week with movers coming in, closing on our condo, and staying at a hotel for a few nights. I will get some runs in but not sure if I'll get anything else in.
As to the weekend, Saturday morning started off with a nice 4 mile run.
Then it was off to soccer for both kiddos.Their last soccer Saturday games in New Jersey. Both did great for their last games.
We had a little time at home to relax for a bit before we headed off to our friends house for trick or treating. The kiddos had a blast trick or treating. I think this is longest they've gone.
It's pretty amazing how people go all out with their decorations. Makes going by all the houses so much fun!
Sunday, the most exciting part of the day was my long run. Got in a good 8 miles on my favorite trail. Sad that it is my last long run on the trail, but I know new trails await in California. Today there was a Regatta at Lake Carnegie so it was neat seeing the boats race while on my run. I usually see the boats practice on my runs so it was treat to see them racing for an actual Regatta.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing at home, catching up on some shows, and doing some errands for the move.
Have a great week!
