Monday 2/29 - T25 Speed 1.0
Tuesday 3/1 - Made up my 10 mile long run that I missed while Hubby was away.
Wednesday 3/2 - Speed/hill workout back and forth over the overpass with walking breaks and warm up and cool down.
Thursday 3/3 - 3 mile run. I was planning on taking it easy but when I saw that I was on route to negative splits, I went for it. I ran 9:31, 9:19, 8:22. I was happy to see I still had speed in me.
Friday 3/4 - Rest. Short bike ride with 5 year old.
Saturday 3/5 - Rest
Sunday 3/6 - 408K Race to the Row 8K
I'm pretty happy with how the week went. I was active everyday except Saturday. I got in a session of T25 but no PiYo. Hoping I can get some PiYo in this week. I was also scheduled to do a long run of 11 miles this weekend but with the 8K race just didn't get it in. I'm hoping to get it in today (Monday).
The weekend was really good. We decided to make a trip out of having the race in San Jose on Sunday and took advantage of the Bank of America Museums on Us deal. For those that have a B of A card and don't know, on the first weekend of each month, they have free admission to certain museums if you show your bank card. It's a pretty awesome deal. I saw that both the Tech Museum of Innovation and San Jose Art Museum were included so those were the museums we visited.
Saturday morning we headed to San Jose. Our first stop was to pick up my bib and other goodies for the race (recap will be on the blog this week). It's a little under 2 hours to get to Santana Row where bib pickup was. After lunch, we headed downtown to the Tech Museum of Innovation. It's a pretty cool museum with lots of hands on exhibits for the kiddos. We spent all afternoon at the museum until dinner, then headed to the hotel.
Sunday started out with the 8K race. I'm pretty happy that the weather cooperated because rain was forecasted on Friday so I'm glad it changed. The race went well and it was cool meeting a bunch of other Represent Running ambassadors. Look for the recap this week!
After lunch, we headed to the San Jose Museum of Art. It was a nice museum to visit. The kiddos were entertained by the exhibits because some were animated.
Overall, it was a fun weekend! That sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
