I'm always up for more ways to add more greens in my diet. When I heard that Manitoba Harvest was coming out with a new Hemp Protein Smoothie with greens too, I was excited to try it out. I liked the idea of having protein and greens together in one product that is convenient and easy to take.
The three flavors they have are Chocolate, Mixed Berry, and Vanilla Chai.
I gave all three flavors a try and my favorite turned out to be Mixed Berry. The chocolate was ok, but not chocolaty enough for me. When I think chocolate, I expect to taste chocolate and with this product, I did not get the taste I was expecting. I have more of sweet tooth so maybe that is it. It's not sweet enough for me (note I tried it with just almond milk).
The vanilla chai is my second favorite and I also tried it with just almond milk and it was pretty good and it has a nice taste. My favorite turned out to be the mixed berry flavor and alone with almond milk it is good but I found that making a smoothie out of it was even better. The Mixed Berry flavor has a great recipe on the package called the Rise & Shine Smoothie.

I had all of the ingredients but did not freeze the banana. I also added strawberries since I used the Organic Triple Berry blend that I get from Costco.
I used my Magic Bullet that I've had for a long time and just added almond milk, 4 tablespoons of the Hemp Protein Smoothie mix, and a couple of handfuls of the Triple Berry blend.
The finished product is delicious. It tastes great and refreshing.
It's very easy to add to my morning routine. I really like that the hemp powder contains organic spinach, kale and broccoli that adds greens to the smoothie and also has 15 grams of plant-based protein. Overall, I really like that it is convenient way to add some greens and protein to your diet in a easy way.
