Stay warm with C2 Apparel - Product Review

Fall is here and with fall comes cooler weather for most. The temps here in Northern California have started dropping below 50 overnight and into the mornings which means time to break out the long sleeves and tights for running on those days. When I was given the opportunity to try out some clothing from C2, I took it and am very happy with the apparel I received.

What really stuck out to me was C2's mission. The company was created by Jane Hayes. She built her business having in mind that whatever the sport - running, hiking, cycling, you name it, the weather shouldn't keep you from doing what you love. You just need clothes that can keep up thus C2 apparel was created so you can perform at the best of your ability in any type of weather. It's great because I'm all for running in the rain or even in the snow. There were many a times when I was in NJ and ran in all of the elements. It is great to have apparel that I can go to when it is cold or rainy out.

The items I received were the Women's Elite Half Zip, Performance Crop pant, and Performance tights. I received a size small for all and they are true to size and fit perfectly. 

I love the color of the Elite Half zip. It is comfortable and keeps me warm on runs. It is also perfect for hiking. The lightweight top is made of soft Polartec Power Wool which optimizes wicking, breathability, odor resistance, and durability. It is great that it keeps me warm and dry even after I've been running/hiking for hours.

Both the Performance Crop pant and Performance tights are great as well. They are made with Polartec Power Stretch that wicks moisture, are highly breathable, and very comfortable to wear on runs. They are very comfy and I love that they are so so soft on the inside. I have enjoyed wearing both of these on chilly mornings for runs but also to walk the kiddos to school. I have enjoyed wearing the tights for everyday wear - going on errands, PokemonGo hunting with the kids, or just lounging around the house. They are that comfy. 

Overall, I am very pleased with C2 Apparel. They definitely keep you warm. I wore them on a run with temps in the 50s and while it was cool at the start I was pretty toasty when I was done. I recommend wearing them in a lot cooler weather if you are doing more vigorous exercise or it could just be me since I get hot easily. They would be perfect for snow sports. I could see myself wearing the tights as a base layer underneath my snowboard pants. However it is totally fine to wear them for everyday wear in any temp which I have been doing and love wearing the tights due to how comfortable they are.
