Happy New Year!!! It was a fun week in Seattle. I got in a bunch of runs with my twin sister Sherry aka Happy Running Mom! There was lots of yummy food and good times with family and friends during the week. I am so glad I had the Runner's World Run streak to get me out running especially due to the donuts I ate while there. :p
Monday 12/26 - 4 miles with Sherry for day 33 of #rwrunstreak.
Tuesday 12/27 - Fun 5K with 7 year old and Sherry for day 34 of #rwrunstreak.
The run earned me my earmuffs medal for the Rock'n'Roll Winter Runningland virtual run series.
Thursday 12/29 - 6 miles with Sherry for day 36 of #rwrunstreak.
Friday 12/30 - 2 miles with Sherry for day 37 of #rwrunstreak.
Saturday 12/31 - 1.4 miles to end 2016 for day 38 of #rwrunstreak.
Sunday 1/1 - Started the new year with 5 miles for the last day of the #rwrunstreak, which made for 39 days of running continuously. I did it! :)
I finished December with 108 miles! Not bad considering I'm not following any sort of training plan.
As to the fun parts of the week. The boys continued to have a blast with their cousins. They met a some of their second cousins during the week. It was so much fun hanging out with the fam and catching up with friends. The kids got to go to a trampoline park, watch SING, check out the Harry Potter gingerbread displays downtown, and go bowling for the first time!
The week went by fast and before we knew it, it was New Year's eve and we headed back home.
When we got home, Santa visited while we were away and the boys enjoyed opening their presents.
They didn't have a problem staying up to ring in the New Year. Happy 2017!
New Year's day started with 5 miles with my friend Erin for day 39 of the Runner's World runstreak! It was a great way to start off the new year.
That pretty sums up my week. Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
Thanks great postt
