Week 5 of training went really well! I ran my first race on Sunday as a training run and was very happy with how it went. I got in my cross training workouts along with all the scheduled runs so I'm happy. The only bummer of the week was Hubby getting sick, which ruined our plans for any outdoor adventures over the weekend.

As to the weekend, Hubby ended up getting sick and was sick all weekend with up and down fever, chills, and headaches. :( However, I did get out for the kiddos basketball games.
I also took them to the park to play with friends and even managed a mom's night out with kids at a local pizza place (unfortunately didn't take any pics) but it was a fun time.
Sunday's highlight was the Davis Stampede 10K. It was great to run the race with my friend Elizabeth. Check back later this week for the recap!
The rest of the day was spent doing some errands and taking care of Hubby. I am hoping next weekend we'll get out on an outdoor adventure. I'm crossing my fingers that everyone will be healthy!
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
