Week 7 of half marathon training went really well! I got in all my workouts in and pretty much hit all my paces in the schedule. Unfortunately Hubby started to feel crummy again on Wednesday so no new outdoor adventures for a while until he is better. However, I am fortunate to to still have running as my "me" time during such a busy week.
Monday 2/20 -
Scheduled: Cross Train + 3 miles easy
Actual: 3 miles easy with short strength training workout at home.
Tuesday 2/21 -
Scheduled: 10 min w/u, Ladder 1-2-3-2-1 in minutes @ fast pace w/ .25 mile recovery in between, 10-15 min c/d.
Actual: 10 min w/u, ladder 1-2-3-2-1 in minutes. Paces for the ladder ended up being (6:20,7:04,7:14,7:24,7:36) w/ .25 mile recovery in between. I was clearly tireder by the end. I went out too fast the first one but I'm still pretty happy with the workout. 15 min c/d.

Highlight of the week, I finished the puzzle I started with the kiddos. Once I start, it's hard for me to stop until it's done. :)
Saturday was supposed to be a rest day, but I wanted to get a in run with friends. The three of us haven't ran together in months, so it was great to run all together again!
After the run, it was off to Lil C's basketball game.
After lunch, it was P's basketball game. Both were fun to watch. Next week is their last game, so it will be nice to have Saturday's free again.
More hoops and play time at the park with friends later in the afternoon.
Sunday morning started out with my 11 mile long run with my friend Elizabeth. It was fun because we ventured out to the American River Parkway trail for a change in scenery. It is the perfect place for a long run.
Later in the afternoon, we took the kiddos to the park to play.
Me and my boys.
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin for their Weekly Wrap.
Have a great week!
