Last Week's Workouts and Weekly Wrap 5/15-5/21

Last week was another good week of workouts! I got in some good running and a good variety of cross training. It was a busy but fun weekend. The spring soccer season came to a close and I ran Bay to Breakers with friends on Sunday which was a blast!

Here's a recap of what happened last week:

Monday 5/15 - PiYo Sweat dvd. It was great doing this workout again. It reminded me of how inflexible I am. :p
Tuesday 5/16 - 5 miles with a friend and then some tennis.
 It was great playing tennis. I hope to play more this summer.
Wednesday 5/17 - 5 miles with friends.
Thursday 5/18 - 3 miles and a tabata workout with the girls on the courts.
Friday 5/19 - 5 miles with friends.
Saturday 5/20 - Rest
Sunday 5/21 - Bay to Breakers! Such a fun race! Look out for the recap on the blog soon!
As to the weekend, it started off Friday evening with the kiddos last AYSO spring soccer game. This was Hubby's first time coaching both boys teams this season and he did an awesome job. So proud of him for taking the time to do it. The boys really enjoyed it too.
Saturday morning started out with the boys last Legacy soccer game. It's the local league team. It's been fun watching the boys play on the same team (only when they need extra players they have my 7 year old play). Anyway, it was their last game as well, until it starts back up in the fall.
After lunch, I was off to San Francisco with friends for Bay to Breakers. We took BART into the city, checked into our hotel, and then headed to the expo. We got to the expo and had about a half hour to explore before it closed. 
Afterwards, we had dinner at Zero Zero and had some good pizza along with this delicious dessert. So yummy!

On the way back to our hotel, we stopped for a bottle of wine and enjoyed it back in the room. We stayed up later and probably drank more than we should have but it was a fun time! :)

Sunday morning was the race. I'll have more details about the race in my race recap that I hope to have up later this week. For now, I will leave you with a couple of pics from the race. It was my second time running and it was lots of fun.


I didn't get back home until late afternoon. The boys were happy to see that I came home with some Kinder eggs for them.

Hubby had bought some water balloons at Target that you can fill 35 balloons in such a quick time (like a minute or two). They had gone through 2 batches of 35 with friends and left another batch for me so I had fun playing balloon toss and just throwing them around with them. I was really amazed at how cool you can have so many water balloons in such a short amount of time. No more having to do it one by one at the sink.
We ended the night playing Monopoly. :) 
That pretty much sums up my week! This weekend is already Memorial Day weekend and I'm excited to go camping at Yosemite!!
