Week 3 of training for the Shamrock'n Half marathon has been good. I got in my runs, even a little more than scheduled but still lacking on the cross training side so I'm not as happy as I could be with the week. I did a core workout but really need to add more. Hoping I get more done this week!
Monday 1/15 - Rest day
Tuesday 1/16 - Fartlek workout. W/u, 6x30 sec. w/ 1 min recovery, c/d. Total of 5 miles.
Wednesday 1/17 - Easy 4 miles with a friend.
Thursday 1/18 - 5 miles with Hubby and a core workout.
Friday 1/19 - 3 miles.
Saturday 1/20 - 7 miles with Fleet Feet Davis Shamrock'n Training group
Sunday 1/21 - 2 miles with the fam.
Some highlights of the week, we celebrated Hubby's birthday. We went to happy hour first while waiting for 8 year old's soccer practice to be over, and then a yummy steakhouse for dinner.
I made Hubby his favorite ice cream cake for dessert. On Thursday I got a fun night out with a friend. She took me to a yummy Nepali & Indian Restaurant and then we had dessert at Cream. So good. :)
Saturday was a day full of sports. I got my 7 mile long run in with the Fleet Feet training group and right after I headed over to 8 year old's soccer game. It was their first game this season and they did great!
After that game, we went straight to 6 year old's basketball game. So fun to watch him play!
Sunday, the fam got outside for a 2 mile run before I headed into work.
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and Taking the Long Way Home for their Weekly Wrap.
