As to the weekend, it was a fun and busy one! Friday started out with my eldest son's birthday. He is now 9 years old!! He got to choose where to eat for dinner and what to do that night. We ended up at his favorite Italian place, Paesano's and then went to movie night at his school and we watched the movie Wonder.
Of course I made him an ice cream cake that we all enjoyed.
It was a hot Saturday so after lunch we cooled off at the local pool for a couple of hours. Later in the afternoon, we went to Sudwerks a local brewery for a school fundraiser.
Sunday morning was the Women's Fitness Festival 5k where I was hoping to get a PR but unfortunately I ended up having a bad run. On the upside I did manage 2nd place in my age group. Race recap will be on the blog later this week.
Hubby had been stalking Golden State Warriors tickets and they finally went down a bit to what we thought was worth it. So yes, we were at the Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA finals game 2!! It was a pretty awesome experience!
It was so cool witnessing a pretty awesome game with such great players.
Go Warriors!!!
That pretty much sums up my week! Linking this post up with HoHo Runs and Taking the Long Way Home for their Weekly Wrap.
