It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm hoping I will be getting back to posting on the blog again more often. I recently had the opportunity to try out some clothing from Kuhl and wanted to share my thoughts.
Kuhl is pronounced "cool" and is an independently owned company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I didn't know a whole lot about the company before trying their clothes. I just knew that they were a high quality outdoorsy brand. I would see their clothes whenever I shopped at REI but thought the clothes were pretty pricy.
Doing a little research on their website, it was neat to see what the company values. From their website, their goal is simple:
"employ and partner with great people, source responsibly, and provide a higher quality of living for all involved to make the best damn products. We want to give you the opportunity to enjoy the journey rather than focusing on the destination."
Their prices are a bit higher but only because they never settle for second best. They source from the finest materials from environmentally conscious and ethically minded partners. This all sounds really great to me. A company that does these things is a plus in my book. There is also a lot of useful info on their website. They have a blog with lots of tips for hiking, travel, style, and even food & drink. For example how to make your own electrolyte drink which I thought was neat since I need electrolytes for running and hiking.
Anyway, the products that I got to review were the Trekr Pant, Haven Jogger, and Kamp long sleeve shirt. I also got some stickers and a honey waffle in the package.
Over the last month, I've been wearing the clothing. From taking walks in the neighborhood, to traveling to San Jose for a race, or traveling to Salinas/ Monterey for a soccer game, it has been great trying them out. The clothes are really nice. Everything is comfortable.
